The Day After Tommorrow.. Where would i be?
I wish i wish and i wish some more..

That something would happen to Singapore. All my life, i had been craving for experience. Experience of natural disasters. Tornados, flood, earthquakes....

Nothing!
Our peaceful little island had got nothing except SUN SUN SUN and endless sun... Ok, lightning strike don't count, coz i'm not yearning for them. I'm not into electricity and fizzy curls!

How i wish i were in the movie, and survive it.
I LUV ADVENTURE!
Back-packing to the remote areas of the world. My dream..
But it seems so impossible, bug down by the responsibilities of daily life.

If ice age really come, i'll make ice-kacang on the road...
Cool! erm.. i mean, cold!

A incredible movie, and set u in fantasies...

Anyway, here's the conquered!
Drink ur vodka, love ur man, and fight the GSS (Great S'pore Sale)!
Afterall, it only come once a year! *wink

I'm so worried!
It's been 1 mth since i've graduate.. Bintan have come and go, and June is approaching..

AND I'M STILL JOBLESS!!

This is so frustrating. How can this be happening?? I'm such a diligent worker who, when start working on something, do not stop till it is accomplish. So how can i be still jobless? Employers should be Q-ing to employ me!

Hello, all bosses out there, time to wake up!

Not only do companies not reply to my pleads of employment (in form of emails), the agency is quiet as well!

WAT'S HAPPENING?

What will happen if i can't get a job forever? what will i live on? grass? air? I don't want to be a housewife! And i still have to feed my yoyo u know... plus her spa treatment!

I WANT WORK WORK WORK!!!

Anyone who happen to be reading this insecureness in me, can you pls go back and ask ur boss if he'd like to employ me? Plzzzzz?
I'll work any position, from admin clerk to HR assistant.. anything except toilet or cleaning manager/executive...

I'm desperate.

Today i only manage to clinch a one-day job at expo on next sunday. Much as i would like to go, my precious hubby would be left all alone! On a sunday! That is even worse than dumping me on a Sat nite!

Dilemma...

Money or Hubby?
Hubby or money?

God! Can anyone save me!!???

Richard Marx

This is a singer from the 80s. How did i find him?

1)I tried to download my all time fav song--Close to u (karen carpenter), on Kazaar
2)i saw the song "right here waiting" and download it too.
3)I realise i did not know the lyrics to such a popular oldies..
4)Went to the singer's official site hoping to get lyrics.

And guess what i chance upon?
CLICK HERE and groove to the song!!!

It's HOT HOT HOT!!!
I've listen to it like the thousandth times already! (keep on F5-ing! Hee!)
I'm going to get the CD! for my own birthday present..^__^ (it launch in Aug ma..)

From there, i was directed to the fan site, and there, i realised that he is the singer of "Now and Forever" another of my all time fav! So he was my idol all along! Just that i did not know him... and i find out one thing, he does not grow old! He must have reach his 40s, but he still have the boyish face...

Past Now

He isn't exactly very handsome, neither is he my type of man (my type of man is like Hector from Troy).. But his voice had got that sexy edge! And that's enough... *weak knee*

Revive
Is it the walk? or the sleepless nite spent gossiping? I feel so tired! So much so that i spend the WHOLE of today sleeping and lazing on the bed. With no energy for anything. I tried to read abit, but my eyes shout abuse, and demanded another hour sleep as a compensation...

What's wrong?

I'm so knock out that i had no clue that Bee had wake at 9am, and had even went to McDonald's to get breakfast for me. It was only when he woke me up and carry me to the living rm (coz i refuse to get up, hee) and put my head onto the Mc's plastic bag that it occurs to me what had happen...

SWEET
DAMN SWEET

yes, he's capable of getting surprises just when u least expect it. ^__^

oh, and here's a parting shot of Bee's lazing with yoyo...

Haha, tat's all folk!

Sleep walking back
Didn't sleep at all last night while at the chalet. It's been so long since we gathered, so we gals spend the night, as anyone could guess -- GOSSIPING

We yank all through the night till the cock wakes!

Everything was good, there's plenty of food, drinks and company. I'm very happy that my Konyaku jelly is being appreciated by so many! ^__^

Bee and me head on to the TNP Big Walk directly. Boy, we were like two zombies sleep walking (even though Bee had sleep abit).

This year, the route was changed due to the collapse of the nicole highway, so in the end, everyone just walk aroundthe stadium.

Disappointing.

There is also less doggies, less wierd people sent by wierd companies. This year, alot of schools are involve, and the kids have no show to show, so they make a nuisance of themselves...

Well, i should say no more, here are the pics!

CHALET...

Outdated
Ok, actually i'm supposed to complain about this on my last posting. But i guess it's too late for my winny brain to work probably...

I LEFT IT OUT...

Ok, i went to get my photos develop yesterday. (and it cost a bomb! $18) and found out that some of my very nice pics can't be develop out due to the quality problem. I can't believe my super cam would make this kind of mistake so i check it when i come home...

It took me a very long time to find out....

That i'm actually taking pics on "manual" mode all along in Bintan!
No wonder the poor quality pics!
I feel like slapping myself ten times! *slap slap*

Humph!

***************************************************

Have been busy the whole morning, making Konyaku jelly for the chalet i'm attending later. So i won't be home again tonight. (Poor yoyo won't be sleeping again) then tommorrow, i'll walk the Big Walk before heading home.

Some people think it's very stupid to go such a long way to walk, but i beg to differ. It's my 2nd walk this year, and i can say, the atmosphere is so energize that an Ah mah (no offense to all ah mah out there) will want to walk too. There is also alot of things to see. As cheapo companies will send their staff in silly and stuffy costumes to walk the walk as a way to promote their companies. Free advertising...

There will also be alot of dogs (that's what attracting me) all walking with their owners. Some even have same outfits as their owner...

Last year yoyo went too. And she finished it! She sleep for two days after she came back. I think it's too exhausting for her... (-_-") This year, we are leaving her out due to external circumstances (naming: chalet). it's not bad, i could took more pics then...

I need a photoshop...
I'm going crazy over my Adobe photo editing software. Not only is it unuser-friendly, i can't open the photo i edited as well. As they save in DAT format.

SUX!

Now whoever are reading this post and happen to have photoshop or other good photo editing software can u pls contact me?
leave a comment and i'll be grateful to u all my life.

Whichever kind soul will rescue me? or i'll never get Bintan photo published...

****************************************

Went to the job agency to registered with them today. IT'S SO LAST MINUTE! And i haven't get all the fucking documents done. So in the end i must juggle shower, dress & make up, printing transcripts, copying certs and getting resume done all in 2 hours!

2 miserable hours!
And that included bus waiting time... Fuck!

='(

But well, it's over. Manage to get pass it without any hiccups (touchwood!)Hope they get me interview soon.

I was lucky today, manage to find some clothes on discount! went shopping abit for formal clothes (as in shirt & pants)after the agency thingy. I totally hate wearing shirts, they are hot, uncomfortable and make me look like Jenny wah wah (a kind of japanese barbie doll). Jeans is best! But... *sigh

Why Jenny Wah wah? Becoz...
It's like a kid wearing adult clothes!
Who can be more pathetic than me!?

Blame it on my leg that refuse to grow longer, or my body that refuse to absorb nutrients to grow...

Can u imagine being small all ur life?! From being a extra small baby (2.5kg) to a small adults, with small hands and feet..
No one takes u seriously...
They probably take u as a secondary school kid!

Arghhhh!!!!

But i was lucky today. Bought 2 shirts, i skirt and a camisole (got lace! yaay!) All at a discounted price! and they look slightly better than the usual kind.

LUCKY!! ^__^ i felt better...

Yeah! X70 Go!
I finally can kiss my sucky Samsung S200 goodbye. It's the happiest thing. Right here i want to announce:

SAMSUNG SUX!

Not only is the phone not user friendly, it expect people to bring the phone to service every month. The keypad is FOREVER not responding, or it'll just shut off just as u were about to finish typing the SMS message...

INFURIATING!!

The only thing that's good is the design. It is totally ME. (just that i'm not sucky :p) And it has the nicest red. My fav color..

Well, the new phone, so far so good. the messaging part was way better than samsung. But the detail part can be quite confusing.

And the color... It's dark silver, there is no light silver. But i think i can live with it.

So that's all..
Just want to share the joy of having a new hp...

As for bintan pics, sorry guys.
Give me more time k? ^__^

I'm Back!
Hey, I'm back... All burnt (as in chao tah) and happy! the sun was out, sea breeze cool, and everywhere is beautiful, in short, IT WAS PARADISE!

From jaccuzi pool (ok, so it's not the actual jaccuzi. But about the same), to very beautiful beach and coconut trees, everything scream "RELAX", and oh, their sand on the beach was so fine... they could make a hour glass with it. And the sea had 3 shade!

But what astonish me on this trip was the service level of Nirwana Garden.

God, they make me a QUEEN!

Their service is so constant that no matter which staff it is, they are just as friendly and warm. They make you feel good.

Actually, throughout the 3 days i'm at Bintan, i was soaking in the pool like there is no tommorrow. I swear my skin is going to come off if i stay another day! But no one can resist...

One bad thing was the lack of shopping opportunities. There is nothing to buy! And when there is, it usually cost a bomb. And you can actually get it in Singapore for a fraction of the price.

Sux!

Ok, i'm charging the cam rite now. Promise to upload the pics soon.

I'm very excited now...

Why?

Because i'm going to buy a new hp tommorrow. Panasonic X70.
How cool is that!?
Envy me!!!!!!!!!!!

Bintan!!
God, i can't believe it. It all seem like i had just book the ticket to tanning paradise, and here i am, setting off in another 9hrs time, reaching there about 1pm S'pore time.

I'm feeling DAMN excited!

Some pics on preparing...

**********************************************

Watch TROY today. Boy, it was ice-cream to the eyes... Full of yummy knights and pretty babes. I especially like Hector (Eric Bana), and not Achilles (Brad Pitt) just bcoz he live by a rule:

"Drink your wine, love your women and fight your country"

Wow, i LOVE sentimental man. More so if they happen to be a doting father. No matter what a bitch i was (intended or not), a picture of father & son will make me cry anytime. Maybe its bcoz I had never experience this kind of paternal love ever since i can remember. I'm just happy if my father just remember my age and birthday.. which i seriously doubt so...

Back to Troy, it was really a marvellous movies, get me at the edge of my seat and hammering on Bee's shoulder most of the time.

A "can't miss" movie...
Pirated VCD can't show the effect, so dun even think about it.

Dumped
I should quit being so nice. Despite the saying, 'the good will be repaid', good deeds of today are normally being taken for granted. Worse, one might end up no better. Like me, be an angel and end up all alone on a Saturday nite.

ALL ALONE!
Yoyo is not counted! She's a doggie...

Bee had promised me to spend the ENTIRE weekend with me before i set off to Bintan (Yeah!) but in then end, he's at Double O, and i'm not there.

I hate Double O. Coz that's where his army mates hang out.

Hate it.
Hate it.
Hate it.

Well, he offered to stay with me. But he still bring his clubbing wear to my house, along with a long story of how his mates are going overseas, just back from overseas, and the return of ORD mates.

WHAT THE FUCK HAVE IT GOT TO DO WITH ME!?

When i questioned about the clothes,it was a JUST IN CASE. Just in case i allow him to go.

In the end, i chase him outta the house. I hate it when people ying chou me. If u want to go, GO. Dun say u are in a dilemma, torn between two parties. A person who is clear with what he/she want is NEVER in a dilemma.

If Bee was really keen to keep me company, he WOULDN"T even considered going, and there WOULDN"T be a "just in case".

I hate it when people promise me things and fail to keep it.

So here i am, spending the last saturday before Bintan ALONE AND WRITING THIS BLOODY BLOG. And yoyo is busy wrestling with my dad's leg.... *sigh* And FYI, i had finished washing the laundry, settled my Dad's dinner, clear the dinner trash and about to finish this post. *double sigh*

Yesterday was better, had another mahjong session and made a big fortune(considering that we are playing by cents), i won $5+! Imagine if we'll playing by dollors.. Woohoo~

I think i could now wear the label 'hardcore mahjong addict'. I could play the WHOLE day and still it will not be enough!

Can someone give me a cold turkey?

Bintan here I come!
Yeah! i bought a sundress to wear to Bintan! Went shopping for dresses with Mel at Far East today and tried on endless dresses. So it's like..

Take out clothes
Wear clothes...

Take out clothes
Wear clothes...

Until I was sick of the action...(x_x)

But then.. Finally, we each bought one from Level 1's 'area 51', together with Irene, who bought a sarong and had join us half way. And it's a steal! $28 only! Ha!

HAPPY!
Bintan here i come!!

We end the shopping day with Mala Steamboat at Bugis. We meet up Ray there. And was gossiping all the way through prawns, pork fillet, and burning stomach. Ouch!

Only minus point is no free flow of water... I feel like a camel... Mega thirsty..

Wonder when can we eat like today again. All of us will be real busy once started working... Haiz...
Darkness of working life...

Anyway, i just found out that the hp i like only cost $534 with 2-yr plan.. (It's the Panasonic phone). So i only need to pay $300+ for the phone after i sell away the useless Samsung phone, which is so beautiful but sucky to use. Expect u to bring it to service every other week! Yeah! Should be able to get it anytime now...

So cool, this phone is not very widely use by people, so having a phone everybody have is very slim..
Hmm... I can't wait!

Knock off from the being the manicurist liao. It's easier than i tot. From today's experience, i learn alot.

*I learn that althou i can put dark colors on myself very well, i dun do it as well on others
*I learn that some customers can have very DISGUSTING nails
*I learn that being a manicurist can get lung cancer very easily. As they breath in a large amount of nail 'powder' everyday
*That i can file very well (Maye told me this ^__^)

Haiz, but if u ask me to consider being a manicurist as a profession?
I think i'd rather be the customer...

Digested
I had finally finish reading Lord of the Rings! It took me months! I had taken up reading from primary school days, but...

THIS IS THE LONGEST STORY EVER!

not that i haven't seen the movie, i watch all 3. But many people had been telling me that the book is vividly different from the movies. More detail, and more exciting....

So how do i feel about this story?

Well, it is true that it hold more details, there are quite a few scene that were cut off from the movies. It's a good thing i watched the movies, as i can relate to and understand better. But as for more exciting, i prefer the movies. Can see handsome Aragon and ugly orcs fight. More exciting! Can drool some more...

Today is also my first day working at Arte Nail House, as a freelance manicurist. Nervous? Excited? I dun feel anything! Must be because i'm quite familiar with there liao... ^__^

Will update tonight!

Pleasant surprise
Hey, guess what, my final year brand project had not only been chosen to enter the inter-cohort(spell this way?) competition, it had enter TOP 5!

SURPRISE!
I dun even remember getting into the competition in the first place!

Give me a Hi-5!
Low-5!
Middle-5!

Ok, enough. Hand say it hurts =P

Well, what does it bring me? A medal and a cert. But best of all is that i could write it down in my RESUME. It's precious value to this priceless piece of paper! It determine my future & my future financial status. \($_$)/

I was writing my resume this WHOLE afternoon, thinking it's so plain with no value. Throughout my school life, i was never the prefect (Prefect=Perfect student, pun intended), or any leader in class... I can't probably put "school rule breaker" on my resume, can i? or leader in confronting other timid girls? Pleeazzzz...

Just as i was scratching my brain out, Limin the angel called and announced the news! And i gleefully add "Special achievement -- Top 5 position in Branding Project" (not exact quote)

Suddenly, i could see my resume glow.... like gold.
No kidding.

And now, waiting for next Thursday to fight for top 3 position by presenting to judges about Tiger Balm, the asian remedy

Prices for top 3 are as follow:
1st price -- $150 Giodano Voucher
2nd price -- $100 Giodano Voucher
3rd price -- $50 Giodano Voucher

God, i'm so happy i want to cry...

FREEEEE!!!!!
Yes, i'm free! Free from those thick books and headaches, from exams, projects and homework. Not that i do them, but they still get on my nerves! Now i can declare that:

I HATE STUDY!
and remain study-free! Yeah!

Went to eat Fish & Co at the glass house with Mel, Jerry and Elyna yesterday. Of course with the company of Bee. It's so long since we went out. Both of us were in cold storage (not the supermarket) then... Anyway, the meal was unplanned. Decide to join them at last minute. And had a hell lot of fun. Everyone get entertained by some "common topic". But poor me, eat alot, Bee came with a full stomach. So in the end, our Seafood platter for 2 can't be finish.. But the mussles recommended by Mel sure taste good!

Yummilicious!

Van Helsing came after dinner. It was such a great movie. But we risk our necks watching it. As we were sitting at the 3rd row... from the screen. -_-" And Bee actually thought that we were 3rd row from the back. His logic was, "they sell from the back rite? Since i buy it at AXS station so early, the seat should be at the back" Unknown to him, people buy it days in advance. Yes, that's how popular the movie are. In fact, all the show on Van Helsing were SOLD OUT at 8pm. Right up to midnight at GV Plaza.

Kate Beckinsale looked absolutely gorgeous in that corset of hers. How does she move like that when she is all bind up?

If i was her, i would go.. huh.. huh... *breathless* and ... thump! *faint*

Oh, and i realised one thing, they had the same outfit on all the time! that is so freaking smelly!! They didn't bath for days on end. Wearing the same outfit over and over and over again... Yucks! But thinking back, if i were to look THAT good in a particular outfit, i wouldn't want to get it off either. Anna's(Kate) floral shirt is worth my drool...

And there was the Dracula's wife, no, wives. They are so pretty when they are not flying... Only if they are not flying. And they can be pretty dumb. to the extend that they can be classified as Bimboes. Their babies is worse... UGLY

Basically, the whole storyline is amazing... it totally fits. I hate those storylines that had loopholes and make u wonder, "why like that?" i pay $8.50 to watch movies, not to crack my brain... From frankenstein to werewolf to puff-up monsters.. everything make u go "WOW"

Enough on yesterday, today i'm all alone. Deprive of mother and hubby... Mother had to work, and Bee got duty... so poor poor me...

Before i go, i wish all mothers out there a

HAPPY MUMMY"S DAY!

It's been tough on u, after slogging out for 364 days, u only have 1 day delicated to u...

Relief!
Yeah! I've finally finish my IEM paper!! And the best part is........

I CAN PASS!!!

How do i know? Coz i'm a genius! *chest puff up*
Haha, actually our sister Ray (ya, a he-sister) is very sweet. He help me to calculate the percentage needed in order to pass the module as a whole. And it show that actually, i only needed another 30%, which mean i can still manage pass the module even if i fail this paper by abit. And in this paper, i can do 3question out of 5. So, by common sense, i should have pass the paper. And that means i'd have pass the module. HURRAY!!!

Today went Causeway point with Irene and Mel, had a mini celebration for having conquered IEM paper. Poor Irene did not finish the paper. But it's ok,

WE'LL PASS. ^__^

Victory sure taste sweet.

Anyway, under the recommendation of Mel, i bought this shower foam.

We came across it at Watson's. But did not buy from there, coz have to leave the crime scene fast before anyone spot us. We had accidentally drop a bottle of this shower foam (but orange flavor one) and it SPILLED... -__-" In the end, we bought it from Guardian. $3.25, cheap! It's Lavender flavor, so i'll use it before bedtime to sooth my nerves. At the same time, sooth YoYo's nerve since her keen sense of smell can smell the Lavender of me. Great! Kill 2 birds with 1 cheap stone!

As for the spill, don't tell anyone ok?

Frightful

I first smell of trouble two days ago. When yoyo keep biting her paws... last nite, her crazy bitings coz the paw (same suay one)to bleed. I took her to groomer today. Wanted to get her the usual puppy cut, that last 2 mth... and left her smell of rose & lavender....
This was how she looked when she went in Alphapets... Cute! Hugable, adorable, all the "able"...

*************************

This is what she look now...

~Just kidding~
I'll burn down the shop if this happen...

Look!

There are more pics. Click here to view.

Frightful?
She had not only bite her paw. In fact, i think she bite her fur too when she's alone at home. No wonder she never give the bored look these few days. Now, underneath the cuteness, fluffyness of the full coat, lies a mess of tangles even groomer will shake their heads...
Groomer (btw, his name is WenJun) said, "Bobian liao, botak lor." Verdict passed, yoyo sentence to at least 3 month of 'not-mei-mei-ness'

But GroomerWJ very sweet, says, "but since u'r a girl, and a sweet one at that, i'll left u some hair strategically so u still look sweet." I feel like hugging him...

Outcome: I dunno whether to laugh or cry... Sweet? Mei?

I want to tear my hair out. Since yoyo got no more hair for me to pull.

What to do, it's for her own good...
she seems upset when i show her the mirror, even attempt to bite the dog inside... Poor thing...

So i bought a new toy to comfort her. She oways love rope toys...

Mel: She will have new toys to bug u the next time u come...

Also, dunno what happen to my neighbourhood today. Kana visited by a swamp of moth-like insects... The WHOLE bloody neighbourhood. Scary.

Now everyone is rushing to buy insecticide to spray into the air, attempting to kill these insect but poison the passer-by instead...
Few hours later, wherever u step, there will be THOUSANDS of mini corpses around, and the ants will (in group of 10-30) gleefully drag them home and have a feast...

Frightful frightful frightful

and oh, i forgot.

1 down, 2 standing
countdown to IEM paper -- 44hr 9min

Hey, done with Brand paper. Quite a breeze coz i manage to do all question. Correct or not is another story... but then, it's a load of my mind.

Just went to YaKun Coffeestall for a toast set. I did a question on it during the exam on a empty stomach. (intend to lunch in school, but sandwich sold out) And was made to surf its site, SO MANY PICS ON THE TOAST.

i drown the whole class with my drool. -_-

After paper, run to Causeway pt to satisfy my craving...
FYI, in case you'r wondering. No, i'm not pregnant. I have food craving 365 days a yr. It struck like a lightning, and it MUST be satisfied. Or it will become the evil and start to eat away your soul...

U better believe me. and wipe that smirk off ur face.
Anyone caught laughing will be slap with Yakun toast.

Back to topic. i hope i'll pass my IEM. at least a "D".
Seriously i have no knowledge of the subject.
Whoever reading this pls put ur palms together and repeat after me:

~All god(s) out there, pls poh pi karen to pass the IEM paper~

Thank you everyone. ^__^

Top of my wish list: Saturday come sooner

Sometimes, pace of life become too fast. We last track of the things that means a lot to us. Like the little simple pleasures in life... Why not slow down the pace, and smell the flowers by the roadside.
