I'm Supposed To...

List 6 random things about Grumpy.. I tried & tried, I drafted it out on my notepad, i wrote it down on rough paper.

But I never finish it.

I don't understand, I just can't finish it.. Of 6 things, only one keep swimming around my head:

1. He is very fidgety with his finger (and toe)nails, he thinks it's dirty, and forbid people to touch it. His wife, being a free-lance manicurist during her poor student days, had NOT touch his nails yet.

2. ....
3. ....
4. ....
5. ....
6. ....

Cannot think of any already.. -sulk-

Does "he sleeps with one arms over his eye, and the armpit in my face" count?

What's happening? Is it the Year?
Sunday, July 23, 2006
On a more superstitious note. Old wives said that bad things are aplenty when there is an additional month within the year. So called lun yue...

Coincidentally, this year, we had one. On the 7th lunar year- the ghost month.

I had been making many trips to the hospital this year, and hearing alot of bad news. Let's start from the beginning of the year
-Wesley's granny was admitted to hospital from tumour, a malign form of cancer
-I got the news that my Primary school mate's mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her mother was not only closed to me, she's my mother childhood friend too.
-Then there was F's father.. blocked arteries was no joke. Thank goodness he was only hospitalized.
-My own father was admitted to hospital for abssess. And as it had been overlooked or too long, he needed an emergency op.
-Then I heard F's granny was admitted to the hospital too.
-Following shortly, my Aunt called & informed me to go KK hospital for a detail blood test. As she is diagnosed as a Beta Thalasseamia 50% carrier. Thalasseamia is a blood disease in the genes, and often affect the whole family tree. If the affected gene was more than 75%, the patient needs a blood transfusion every month. As the defected gene will not produce enough healthy blood cells. So far, only my Aunt & her son had been identified. My mum, dad & brother had been given a clearence. I had just went for my test, and is awaiting for the result.
-Now, my eldest Aunt had been admitted to the hospital for breast cancer. i will be going to TTSH (again) to visit her when I'm done with this post.

What's happening around me? Why so many bad news? The worst thing is, her husband had just passed away. And she still have a retarded daughter to look after. My eldest cousin is the only one supporting the family after my uncle's death.. And did I mention that my Aunt was an ex-stroke patient and is paralysed from waist down?

No matter what, i hope the bad news would stop. Or is the World really coming to an end?

Been busy lately.. having to move office, settling in new office, adapting to a toilet-less office (it's not done up yet), and most important thing --

I'm view flats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My lifelong dream, having a place to call MY OWN. Playing by my own rules.. And leaving the housework(s) to GRUMPY.. (lol) Yoyo will have her own place (She can called herself QUEEN Yoyo) and she will have a full-length window to keep herself entertained. =)

Actually, it's been a few weeks now.
And we had moved, from the original new batch of flats.. to the estate which we had condemned in the first place. And after about 3 weeks of viewing, we finally narrowed down to 2 units. Hopefully everything went fine. I really like the #12 unit. Unblocked view, high floor with big living room, at least able to put in a dining table after the sofa, and not having to choose one over another.

Now it's at the negotiating stage, everybody pray for Grumpy & me ok?

Sigh. It's actually quite scary. Since it's our first time, we don't know so many things. Just hope everything will be a big O.K.

In the meantime, while me & grumpy are getting so busy, running everywhere.. My neighbour's 2 rabbits show us the product of their lovey-dovey-ness.

I am taking this as good sign. On top of a draw lots from my beloved Guanyin temple.
And trying to keep my butt on the damn seat. (^_^)

Sometimes, pace of life become too fast. We last track of the things that means a lot to us. Like the little simple pleasures in life... Why not slow down the pace, and smell the flowers by the roadside.
