Gossip Time!
Had an upset tummy to start my working day... How pleasant!
While in one of the trip, also while i was concentrating in the "sensation", i heard something that let all my hair stand on end. In the cubicles beside me (the squatting type, and yes, it was occupied--By human i hope) , came the sound of someone moaning...
YES, the type of moaning... You know, the type when u get the right button press... *blush* only it's softer....
At first, it was shock, then amused, then VERY amused. I tried to see who's on the other side. Gosh, so exciting, maybe someone i know! (ok, i know, Aunty behavior strike again, but don't tell me you're not interested in this, i'll flush you down the toilet bowl with my shit!) No thanks to the sanitary bin, i can see...
NOTHING AT ALL!
Idiot!
I felt tempted to tear the cubicles down, but decides against it. For fear the company would take the chance to re-vamp the WHOLE toilet, and let me bear the cost. Furthermore, i quite like my company's toilet. Clean, bright and smelling o lavender (!?)
I drowned my curiosity with my shit...
The moaning continues for sometimes, then just as suddenly it started, it stopped. I heard toilet paper being pulled, a zipper sound, then of door being opened, followed by someone washing hands, and that's the end.
What's my colleague doing inside there, and WHO'S the colleague?
I leave it to your imagination.
Geez! And this is during office hours!

HoHoHo! It's the 3rd day of Xmas!
And i have started work... :(
Well well, had a very doggie-ful Xmas. Brought Yoyo over to hubby's house for a little stay. To let Yoyo play with the Mini Oreos, before they went for their baby jab (Monday) and went on to their respective owners (Wed/Thur) *Sob*
...That'll only left Missy Black, aka Hei Nui. Sad sad..
This Xmas was spent in a quiet & enjoyable manner. Surrounded by dogs, it had a very calming effect on my mental mind. I even cooked! Not a big meal thou, just some spags. But Yoyo & me had alot of bonding done, a sweet girl she is. Yes. And the 3-day was spent drifting in & out of board games.. Something i haven't touch for so long!
Well well, that's Xmas for you..
Merry Christmas!

I Shall Have Enough Kids to Form a Basketball Team
That is, if they survive their childhood without me strangling them... Kids are cute, undeniable, but they can be such a monsters! And oh, provided i can support them.
Cut the crap, the essence of today's posting is...
I have noticed the absence of the toilet cleaner on our storey. In fact, she's been missing for quite some time already...
Today, while on my way down to get breakfast, i met another cleaner (this's the office cleaner--clear rubbish and wipe table) in the lift. So, i took the opportunity to ask her about the toilet cleaner. Turn out that the toilet cleaner had a bad fall at the lift (where we were standing). Hair standing on end, and a chill down my spine, i hope she had not *mati.
Heng ah... She only broke her hips (ouch!), and now, she can't stand. And is currently still in the hospital. The cleaner aunty continue saying that how poor thing she is.. Being single & childless at this age.
Maybe i should mention, this toilet aunty is ancient. With a blind left eye, she wobbles along the corridor. As she has problem with her legs as well. So, she will place one hand on the wall, and walk like a blind... If you see her at night, she look just like the "long po" in the chinese ghost show "Ying Yang Lu".
I have always wondered why is she still working at such old age. Now i know, if she stops working, how is she going to feed herself? There's no one to support her. One day, if she dies at home, would people know? There are so many articles about finding decomposed bodies in flat.
Shouldn't the retirement years be our golden years? Where we will be surrounded by many many children & grandchildren?
*mati = die in Malay language

Asia DogShow 2004
Met this exhibition by accident at Suntec, where hubby & me had a small celebration for Xmas. We used up the coupon for Sizzler, and guess what, it only cost us $24! Coz it's buy one main course get the cheaper main course FREE! Some more the main course come with salad bar, my favourite!
I also get him a cuffling for his Xmas present... ^__^
We watched "National Treasure". Thinking back, we relied on pirated DVD too much. It's been sometimes since we step into the cinema... Anyway, it's quite exciting. Got me at the edge of the chair... BUT! Don't think back, the moment you think back, it's quite silly... The show got a firework plot. Meaning it worked you up to a high suspense, then, suddenly, it JUST END.
Then you'll go,
(o_O?) Huh? What's going on?
Before i run further away from the topic: Back to the petshow...
Watched a fancy dress competition at suntec. All the dogs were dressed up, so cute. And Suntec was open up for doggies for that day, in tune with the Asia Pet show ba, i guess... Should have bought Yoyo girl along...
Some pics to share...
And oh! I used my bonus to get a travel bag for Yoyo! It cost me $66! It's not a big issue, except that my most expensive bag in my wardrobe cost only $49.90... But it's so sweet, and i always bring Yoyo out with travel dog bag. So, worth it lah... Right? (Don't think, just nod your head. I need some comfort)
Will upload the pics of it soon... *wink*

Family burden
Something happened in hubby's family that makes me think if the saying of "
every house has it's own problem" was true.
We can't choose our parents, and relative come as a package.
I'm sure everyone of us would have some relative we can't agree on, no matter if it's the way they discipline their kids, or the way they live their lifestyle.
But to be burden by them was another problem. What if they get into trouble and drag you in as well? Is it justified? I had always don't believe in clearing people's shit. But if that "people" is a relative, i guess there's not much one can do except help wherever you can. If this's the case, what if it's beyond your strength?
What should you do?
Enough about my thoughts, which, most of the time, is doing more OT than I am.
Just change Yoyo's diet (Again!). Thinking back, it's a blessing in disguise. I had went to the pet shop on Wednesday to buy Science diet: Sensitive Skin. Turn out that the stock had run out. But back home, Yoyo don't have food!!
Got lectured by the shopkeeper for buying the food at last minute, which is very irresponsible. It's not my fault what.. (ok, maybe partially) Didn't know which stupid idiot keep the EMPTY container back in the cupboard, in the end, nobody realised that the food supply had run low. But then again, the pet shop very responsible meh? Can sell untill no stock ah!! Wa-lao, should have replenish the goods when it's like "left half" ma... (this is EXACTLY what the petshop aunty told me lor! Use your words to shoot you!)
End up buying Solid Gold's Holistique Food, made from Salmon oil, no animal by-product, no salt, no sugar = Healthy! A check on Internet found that it's meant for skin sensitive dogs! BINGO! I have hit the jackpot! As a bonus, the food smell nice, like freah cookie smell, unlike Science Diet, which smell like gabbage.
So now, Yoyo got nice food to eat and made her healthier, minus the gabbage smell from her mouth!
Did I mention she love the new food to bits? She emptied the bowl everytime! ^__^

Oh this sux!
Ya, i had just stick my ass into an ant hill. Infuriating...
I'm kicked into the D & D committee as the former guy
takan by the boss refused to have anything to do with it. So, boss looked at me with pathetic eyes.. And?
I found myself within the committee.
Boss said that it was JUST a treasury role. So all i had to do was to collect the money and paid to relevant parties.
Sounds easy enough, even a Bimbo could do it. Let alone me
*
*
*
*
*
WRONG!
In the end, i had to be there EARLY, like 2pm to help set up... Which means i got to bring ALL my stuff to the hotel (which is beside Zouk by the way) and to dress up there.
BORTHER!!!
I hate it lor... and mind you, it's not a little stuff to bring... Let me go thru the list with you:
-the dress
-makeup (whole ot of them)
-heels
-dinner clutch
-shawl
Sound little but it's not. I had to bring EVERYTHING to work, then to the hotel. Work like a slave, then doll myself up.
You call this D & D, i think it's more like a banquet job. Except that i'm not paid.
It does not help that there are a few self-centered morons in the committee as well...
Sigh! I WANT OUT!
I feel like i'm being promise a diamond but given a rock!
Pui!!!

The Damn MRT Broke Down on ME!!
The reason why I force myself up early every morning at 7am was so that i would have time for a mini workout -walk very fast for 13min to the MRT station- and so that i could catch the express train in the morning.
I love express train, i don't mind reaching 2 trains early so that i could park myself DIRECTLY outside the door, so that i could have the freedom of choosing my seat, or choosing my sitting partner (not that i know them, but i don't want to sit beside a tiko-peh, or a deep-in-slumber uncle, whose saliver is going to drip on your shoulder any minute!) Call me an Aunty, I DON"T GIVE A DAMN! The best thing is, since this train is express, i don't need to change to the Pasir Ris bound train at Jurong East Interchange. And that means..... I COULD SLEEP THE WHOLE JOURNEY, with a nice seat and sitting partner(s), and "Glenn, Rod and the Flying Dutchman" blaring in my ears, you could say i'm oblivious to the World. Until the train reach the irritating Redhill station, after which will be the underpass, and my Class 95 cannot be received anymore... The noisy unreceived channel sound would then wake me from my slumber, just in time to reach Tanjong Pagar.
Good to say, I'll NEVER be late! Ah-ha!
BUT, this morning, at the Dover station, i woke up to the MRT announcement system shouting something i couldn't catch. It's so loud it covered over what Rod was saying... Peeing in Swimming pool issue... I pulled out my earpiece, to find that they were chasing everyone out! Due to train's fault, they say. I wondered what did the train do... Flirt? Cheat? Or destroy the tracks?
I think what they meant was: Due to TECHNICAL fault...
Should have call my English teacher Elyna to correct them... Geez!
As by then, most of the people had gone out. In a state of panic that the train door would close, leaving me alone in the train banging on the door, crying buckets and being sent to MRT-land, i rush out... and to my dismay, find the platform COMPLETELY taken by commuters! Where was i going to stand!!!!????
In the end, my position was right at the edge of the platform that i swear, whoever at that moment of time didn't like the look on my face, and gave a hard blow (like the big, bad wolf in the 3 little pigs), i would have landed on the tracks, and the next train would arrive just in time to squash me like a pancake.. I held my breathe....
The stupid SMRT company did not absorb this information:
Morning crowd are huge
They did not send any other train, so ALL us poor stranded commuters had to wait for the next train, which was very crowded even before it reached Dover, and we had to squeeze IN!
For me, as i'm at the edge, I'm among the first to get in, I made a beeline for the center of the cabin, where it's the most empty. Pity those who didn't manage to squeeze in and had to wait for the next train (Again!), they would be very late for work, i'm sure...
Hello SMRT, ext time have better damage control ok?
Don't keep on increase the fare and give us shit!

Ghost Story Heard Yesterday
Army life is so full of ghost stories, don't know if it's the people. or the place. Heard of this stories last night from Ray, and thought it was quite creepy.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
A new batch of rcruit had just reached Tekong. All excited and full of xpectation from the next 2.5mth of training from BMT.
One morning, a recruit (he shall be known as Recruit Troublesome) waked up to find his blanket folded neatly behind his hip. This was considered wierd in Army standard, due to a few reasons: (highlight the space below)
1) The blanket should be place folded at the head area.
2) Most people would use the blanket
3) Even if the recruit was too tired to use the blanket, there's no way it was neat beneath the hips, unless the recruit lie VERY still throughout the night.
4) The recruit developed a persistent fever after the incident.
So, one of the more kay-po officer went to the bunk (their room was called bunk, they thought it was cool, but it's not. Sounds like prison to me) and started to ask other bunk-mate (so call, coz can't be room mate since it was not called room) "Chow recruit! Did any of you see anything wierd anot?"
At this point, my imagenation went wild and insert a comedy clip
Recruit A reported: "Sir, i saw Ah Beng went toilet twice, he normally went only once. He stain his pants as well on the 2nd trip."
Officer drag recruit A and Ah Beng out and force them to run 20km. Recruit A for being pervert, not sleeping and counting other people's toilet trip, Ah Beng for not sleeping and keep on going toilet....
Sorry i disgress.......
Back on story, upon questioning, one of the recruit (not related to Ah Beng in anyway) broke down and confess:
"Sir, i saw..... an old man standing over Recruit Troublesome's bed....
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
End of story. Somehow, it's quite scary when i heard it from Ray's mouth. I think it sounded funny from my blog. I don't know why...
I apologize for this bo-liao story, you can't blame me. I'm working OT again tonight.
Geez, quick, shout at me to get a life!
