Had a wonderful time grilling at the Siloso on Friday. Hmm... It's been so long since i have been out in the sun. The sun, sea and sky were all perfect. Not to mention te company i have... ~Lovely Surprise~

Hubby gave me a surprise when he reach home last night.



Sweet of him. I was wondering what is it. He hasn't been very generous with his surprises for a very long time. Last time was when he was outta Teckkong for the first time, he bought a cartoon plaster for me. Not the most romantic present, i must say. But due his long absence, i was over the moon...

Alrighty, back to the box. Inside was this...

I jump in joy!! It's the bracelet I like from Wisma Chomel!! Let me tell you the story behind this bracelet. All started last Saturday, was shopping with Mel when this caught my attention. It's unique i think... But I didn't have the urge to buy.

When I got home, somehow, I'm still thinking about it. But was thinking of getting it for Man's 21st birthday. But decide otherwise, it's not her style... So i picked another one. And went back the next day to get it.

Then I tried on this, and the cupid strike. But the price didn't agree with me, so I end up just buying Mandy's present.

And voila! Now I got it!! Thank you hubby!!

The left one was given to me by my Mum. The guru said it's my "helper" (gui ren) for my zodiac (which is rat btw), i think the 3 animals are cow, dragon & monkey.

Hubby has one too. But smaller which he keeps near to his heart (chest pocket)

Hectic Weekend -- I'm Bashed!
Wow, have been partying since Friday. And i can feel the burn out ache all over my body now. Not that I'm complaining.... *smile*

FIRST, the good news. (And a supposed open-secret)
Hubby bought me a Gucci bag for my 21st birthday!!! Ya, it's small, but it costs a bomb!!!
Thank you hubby. I know you usually don't encourage this kinda indulgence, but still bought it for me just bcoz I like it. *hugs & kisses*
(ya ya i know, my birthday is in August, but there's a thing called "advancement", kpo bird!)

Well, was feeling slightly better now than last week. Thrown the load off with Mel, having talk alot on alot of issue. Now i could feel my thoughts straighter, and mind clearer. It sure feel good to know i'm not the only one thinking silly thoughts, and insecureness over many issues..

I believe girls have a special bonding chemistry embedded within us. No matter what what problem we face, just place a group of close girlfriends together, and everything will be well. :)


Another issue is that it's Mandy's 21st birthday today..

It's a 2-day celebration affair, thus the long partying hours. We ate BBQ food on Saturday night, and soak in KTV today, the bash ends with a yummy Fish & Co's "Seafood platter" @ the Glass House. Hmm~

What happened to me?
Geez! I actually wrote a poem!!

It's been years since i shifted myself out of the literature department. But i guess old habit die hard. Was in the MRT when inspiration hit me.

(Sigh)


Was feeling all emotional lately. Maybe too many things were happening all around me. Suddenly, in a short week, i had returned from my family trip to Bangkok, two of my friends got hitched to two best friends, two other friends attempting to hop to new job, my dog got an abnormal haircut that scream "Botak", got two more colleague and my boss's sudden turn of attitude (again) towards certain issue. And that old bitch was being extremely nice to me (scare!)...

With all the changes charging at me in all direction, what about me?



Still in the same position as in the last 9 months.

~Fastart Night~
Another company event, held at Shin Bar. This is a party held for newcomer (less than 2yr in the biz). Well, the music's good, people wild. And best of all -- free beer all night long!!

That's 3 of my babies (team under my supervision). all from Ammo Base. Yeah, the two are none other than hubby's camp-mate. Vincent & Simon (from left), both were onboard this month.

More of my babies!! Actually, my team consist 5 members now... With Erin (one & only girl) as the most senior! Cheerios baby!! I'm known for recruiting guys, but hey, my vision is to form MY OWN football team. Now talk to me about soccer!

Poor Yoyo
In preparation for my trip tomorrow (going thailand and will be back on Monday, so dun miss me), i brought Yoyo princess to my trusty groomer -- Alphapets Sembawang. Turn out that she had (again!) bite herself behind our back, which lead to mats, and more mats.

Showing Off

Ha ha! Can you see what is this? The Empress Orchid. I finally lay my hands on it, at a discounted price too! (n_n) Now at chapter 17, it spoke of a daughter of a low rank court officer, who was stationed at a poor village. And her raise from rags to riches. And finally, the Empress only to find the Dynasty falling apart.

And this, i don't know what to call it. Notebook? Organizer? Whatever.
I've been searching high & low for THE perfect organizer for so long. I found none. So on the trip to get the Empress Orchid from Times, i found this notebook. Love the design on the cover, and best of all, it's cheap. $7 only! So, bought it & draw my monthly pages & weekly pages.

One thing good though, I can doodle & scibble the way I like it!

The same day, came across this urse at Takashimaya. Cute. Impulse buy (don't scold me!)

Hey, is this cool? I've always enjoy a cup of hot, dry of cuppo with lotsa choco on top. Yummy! And thus the theme on my N6260. Way more free themes, all from Zedge.
