Happy Birthday Fiona...
This birthday doesn't come cheap. First the buffet, then the puke. End it up with a nasty hangover.. But you had been warned. Muahahaha!

On V.Day, I was waiting patiently.. for an event that did not come. =(
There was no action, no hint of it. I thought I could read grumpy's mind... But that evil one played mind-games with me.. Nothing..

Then I totally forget about it. As I fall sick, my memory was not that sharp.. yes.. Just one day before V.Day.. Fever, body aches, vomit, diarrhoea. Hubby took care of me, and kana the virus himself.. Just when we were setting off for Bangkok. Poor him..

But I'm good too, i self-medicate him back to health..
(Using trial & error method, don't tell him.. shh...)

Then, the night before we left.. As I'm packing my luggage, it happened.

How is it done?
Part of my V.Day surprise was this helium balloon. That had a bear sitting in a balloon, declaring its love for me. That night, when I went into my room & discovered the balloon's weight was on my table, I dismissed it as I thought the weight might have dropped off after a few days.

Then Hubby highlighted it's presence (the weight) to me in a very fake, high-pitch voice..

"Eh, why is the weight here huh? the balloon won't fly away meh?"

And so i turned my view to the balloon, hovering in the bag's corner of my room. Thinking it's his idea of joke, i asked him why tie the balloon to my bag(he always ridiculous thing with his itchy hands), at the same time i pulled on the balloon's string... The balloon fly out with ease.. And exposed a ring in the place of the weight.

And at that moment, He pop the question. Instead of "Can you marry me?" turn out to be "Canyoumarryme". I was giggling like mad. Although I was waiting for a proposal this V.Day, this had totally caught me off guard. And the feeling is indescribeable.

Thus, the announcement:
On 17th February, 3 days after 5th Anniversary

I passed my illness to Grumpy. After looking after me for a whole day, he got it too. The same bout after bout of continuous vomiting, with once every 10min diarrhoea... When I say I can understand what he's going through, I meant it from the bottom of my heart. Afterall, i went through the whole thing on Sunday night. This time, it's my turn to be sleepless... Sigh.

Call it my Valentine's Day gift to him ba.. Sorry dear.

Anyway, the celebration had been good (but not the stupid movie--Jarhead) all the way, and we felt the bond between us, both physically & spiritually. =) We still had it strong after walking together for 5years! Hooray!

5 years, it's neither long nor short. So many things can happen in a 5-year period, yet some things remain unchanged. I'm glad the chemistry is still there.. =)

Let's toast, to many many more 5 good years ahead. Cheers!

I haven't fall so sick for long time le.. Diarrhoe + vomit. Not fun at all.. =(
Left me with no energy, a bad fever & body aches all over. I couldn't even walk to the clinic.

Anyway, Grumpy's so sweet. Just when I'm feeling so miserable and all.. he came back with a big bunch of shocking pink roses, and a flying balloon, that had a bear (that look ridiculously like him.. hee) sitting in a hot balloon, screaming "I Love You, Karen".. Sigh. I think I'm diabetic... =)

Still, certain stuff to update.. Like my company's 2006 D&D -- victorian dressing..






Alot more.. just that the pictures are not with me..
It was fun, just that the food were not filling, the protion was too small! End up most of us head to Crown Prince Hotel's Swensen for Round 2 Pigging-out session. So guilty!! Thank goodness it's my boss pay.. so guilty on the body, not on my pocket.. Haha.. 2/14/2006 10:57:00 AM

I just went for last fitting for my dress! =)
Mine resemblance the dark green one, just that mine, the front-dress part is ivory lace, the "curtain" of the dress is light green, with abit og floral printed design. But the sleeves is 3/4, my favourite length.

Grumpy's a dark blue Duke's coat, with a very lacey scarf.. (heehee) But he looks very dashing in it. Really like a Duke! -blush-

And there will be masks too.. Mysteries.. Excited. =D
