Falling Apart.
Monday, October 16, 2006
That's my body.. Thank god my mentality is still going strong, we are so close now. Just pray hard that everything will come in smooth, and I can move into my new house next year! =D

Speaking of it, I had finished painting my house a dolly hues of pink & purple. No, definitely not the initial intention. The paint turned out different from the catalog and we felt awfully cheated. Especially Grumpy, he took a long while to convince himself that the bright pink doors were JUST temporary measures until the real renovation begins. But the greyish-purple called the "Lavender Mist" was a heart catcher. We totally adores it, might be taking back the same colour for our living room. Although it make the living room a wee bit darker, I still find it okay as our house generally is very bright during day time.

Now with the new colours, the house looked even more inviting... Sigh...

Having a new house introduced a whole new range of confuse feelings into a being. You were excited, worried, anxious, joyful & satisfied ALL AT THE SAME TIME. Don't ask me how, it just felt that way.. But no matter how tired we are, how long the day might be, it make us very happy when we step inside the house. Everything seems worth it, and we see the fruits of our labor.

And for the first time in my life, after living in a HDB house for 21years (1st year was in Kampong) I started worrying about things that I never had before. Like PUB bills, how they charges us, the conservative fees etc etc. It's not easy, leaving the loving nest and family and staying out on your own. There's the insecurities, and the uncertainties. What if I couldn't survive? I can't do housework to save my own ass, now I'm the mistress of the house. I sometimes wonder if Grumpy know how much danger he's facing. Haha.

Well, the next thing to come is to find a day to clean the floors of paint, and we are heading to IKEA to buy some VERY basic furniture. Finally, I had always wanted to have a shopping spree in IKEA for as long as I can remember, all the household items looked fantastic. And affordable too!

I can't wait for all that.

Now just let us cross over that damn target, and we can start packing our luggage!

Sometimes, pace of life become too fast. We last track of the things that means a lot to us. Like the little simple pleasures in life... Why not slow down the pace, and smell the flowers by the roadside.
.:What You Don't Know About Moi:.
That I am not loud
That I love time alone.. or with my princess!
That I like to eat Veges
That I am reserved...
