DOOMSDAY: 1 popcorn

Out of five, that is.
The whole show can be concluded in just one word - LAME.
First, virus attack, people left to die in half of Britain, by a wall that has initially served as dam. Motion detector were set up, even the poor rabbit who search for grass too close to the wall, were machine-gunned to death...
Virus contained. 25 years later, virus appear again, this time in the healthy half of country. Threatening the whole population of country. They decided to find the cure in a city they have forsaken.
What lies inside puzzles me.
People dressed as punksters... Coloured hair, jeans, metal everywhere. The girls are a mix between tribal & punk. If thy have been shut up for 25 yrs, where does the fashion sense come from? Especially when they are all young adult (with 3-year-old mind) who have never seen the "outside world". They obviously have a thing for canabalism, but why didn't they eat their friends?
Further into the city, things got more absurb.
The survival had all gone back in time, travelling more than 300yrs, to the castle & knights era. People travel in horses, used arrows & hang people in cages.
The whole story has as much sense as the wolf blowing down huts in Three Little Pigs.
So, for those of you who are thinking of watching:
Watch at your own risk.
as you might have a urge to throw the popcorns in your hands, resulting in being han-tam by the patrons in front of you... Heh heh.

Quote of the Year:
Friday, April 18, 2008
"Baobei, you don't have to pick this because of me. We can still take Carlton if you want to. Afterall this is your wedding, I want it to be the one you want, your ideal one. And not accomodate me because of the cost"Just because of this, I'll use my life to love you.
And yes, I really like Rendevous over Carlton. It's true...

Philosophy in Life...

Is "You Only Live Once, Don't Live to Regret"
It is this thinking that had set me on a different path from most people. I was being labelled "Rebellious" by my mum since a very young age, but that is because I stand by what I believe. When I get older, the labelled was changed to "Stubborn", cause I'll make my own decision, ignoring her rantings (and nagging).
The first major decision I had made, was to move out & stay with my Granny, many more big & small decisions had since followed. Like relationship, piercing, tattoo, co-habiting (if you consider it), married, and last but not least, getting my own love nest.
I won't say I have never regretted my decisions, I have. And I'm sure that it won't be the last. But I dare to say, I have never live in regret of not doing something. If it's bad, let me experience it, then I will know HOW bad. If it's good, let me find my own path to it. I refused to be spoon-fed!
I have been very lucky, to find a man that will stand by my decision, no matter how absurb & crazy he thinks my plan is. Most of the time, my plans will get him to sit up stright, as it rings up all his alarm bells, being the ever-cautious he. But I think he knows that it will be quite difficult to make me change my mind, even if he burst his brain worrying about me.
That's the man I marry.
