Losing it
Monday, March 24, 2008
I think I'm losing the touch.

I use to do my blog skin with ease, choosing what I want, editting it with FrontPage, and viola! you have it on site already.

This time, is the 3rd attempt in doing this.

It's either the alignment that's the right, or the posts don't show up at all!

*frustrating*

A New Project
Sunday, March 23, 2008
I've started on a another project in my life -- Customary Wedding. Yes, after the 2-year long wait, it's finally happening. :)

Last Sunday, 16th March 2007, we attended a Wedding Fair by Carlton Hotel.

It's there, I signed my wedding package from La belle Couture.

In case you are wondering, here's the stuff. It's definitely not the cheapest in the market, nor is it the grandest. So far, the feeling that they had given me is right, esp. my sale-coordinator, Ling Zhi. But the main thing that make me sign right there on the spot -- The Gowns, and the pictures. They have such unique ways of photography, the angles & emotion they capture, fully enticed me. Not the usual wedding poise & shoot style.

Love it love it love it. :)

Oh, and now is the time again.. to check out my another blog for more wedding stuff update.

Office Talk
Thursday, March 13, 2008
I hate the birthday celebrations in my office, they are so surface, insincere & SOP.

Once the birthday song is over, the whole department will wack the food, leaving the birthday boy/girl to distribute the birthday cake. The time taken to distribute the cakes is the same for the people to finish up the most popular/delicious food. So by the time you are done distributing, you will be left with the "normal" food, food that is there every celebration, not especially yummy, with no particular craving for it.

By the end of it, the people will just pat the butt, and left for own seat or toilet, so most of the time, the birthday boy/girl will be involved in the cleaning up.

Where's the celebration?

Much as it is a "show" of equality, it is also the time to see the popularity of a person. If you are well-like, at least you'll have received a few sincere wishes of Happy-Birthday, a few hugs, presents & "chopped" food. Lovely colleagues will "chop" the popular food for you, make sure you have some to eat, swapping/hitting any hands that dares venture close. And of course, you are not the only one involved in the cleaning up process.

On the other end, if you find that only one out of the whole department is singing the birthday song for you, everyone finish the (best) food faster than you can finish making your wish, and no one offer to help you clean-up, you know you as well-like as the water-cooler dispenser in the pantry -you can't get rid of it, you cant stand it either as it's not performing most of the time-

Now whose birthday is next?

Sometimes, pace of life become too fast. We last track of the things that means a lot to us. Like the little simple pleasures in life... Why not slow down the pace, and smell the flowers by the roadside.
